International Women’s Day
Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day with special guest speaker, Gina Chick, best-selling author.
International Women’s Day, celebrated worldwide on March 8, is a time to reflect on the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and girls, honour their contributions and acknowledge the challenges they continue to face.
This year, we are thrilled to mark the occasion with a special event featuring guest speaker, Gina Chick, on Thursday 6 March. As one of the ten participants in the inaugural series of Alone Australia 2023, Gina spent an awe-inspiring 67 days alone in the Tasmanian wilderness, emerging as the last person standing. A rewilding facilitator, adventurer, writer and speaker, Gina鈥檚 incredible story is one of resilience, courage, and connection.
Her stories of facing adversity, finding redemption, and embracing the wild, resonate deeply with all who hear them. She speaks with warmth, depth, and humour, offering profound insights into our universal search for belonging and connection. An hour in Gina鈥檚 company is an adventure in itself, taking you through a rich tapestry of emotions and experiences. Whether you鈥檙e seeking inspiration, reflection, or simply a chance to reconnect with nature, Gina’s words will leave you feeling empowered and ready to embrace the wild in all its forms.
We invite all school families and members of the community to join us on Thursday 6 March at 07:15 AM at Ansett Hall, 中出视频 Grammar for this unique opportunity to hear from Gina Chick and celebrate the spirit of International Women’s Day.
